Vuela Classic allows free allowance of max 2 cabin bags of total weight 22lbs of each of dimensions not exceeding 22.4 x 15.7 x 12.9 in. It also allows you to bring 1 check-in bag of total weight 55lbs and dimensions not more than 62 linear inches. The passengers traveling in this class can bring a max of 5 check-in bags of the said weight and dimensions on payment of excess baggage charges.
Vuela Plus members are allowed 2 carry-on baggage of total weight 44lbs with each piece not more than 22.4 x 15.7 x 12.9 in. In addition, 1 check-in bag of total weight 55lbs and size 62 linear inches is allowed for free.
Volaris Check-in Methods
After Volaris flight booking, you need to get a boarding pass ahead of your travel time in order to board the flight. This is done at the end of the check-in process during which you get the seat assigned, special requests are made and baggage charges are paid off. There are different methods of checking in provided by the airline. These are given below:
a) Web check-in Opens 72 hours ahead of flight time in case of domestic flights within Mexico and 24 hours before flight time in case of international flights. In both cases, it remains open 1 hour before the Mexico flight.
b) Mobile check-in is done using the mobile application of Volaris which needs to be downloaded to your smartphone. The boarding pass is delivered to your mobile app electronically. This can be shown at the airport to board the flight. Please note that mobile app check-in is provided only at some airports. So, you must check for the airports which accept it.
c) Facebook Messenger check-in this method can be used for checking in within Mexico.
Volaris Frequent Flyer Program
