Delta Airlines Baggage
Delta Airlines allows passenger to carry cabin baggage and check in baggage. As per the airline policy, passengers are allowed to take 1 cabin baggage and 1 personal item for free. The airline does not give any weight limit for the cabin baggage but has size limits of 45 linear inches (or 114 cm, l+b+h). Individually, the dimensions shall not exceed 56 x 35 x 23 cm.
The check in baggage on Delta airlines can be carried either for free or for some charge. The charges and the free allowance of luggage on Delta depends on route, cabin class, frequent flyer membership status and whether you are a military personnel. For passengers flying on US domestic flights (including Puerto Rico) and on cabin classes BE, MC and DC+, there is a charge for the 1st and 2nd check in bag of 50 lbs each for USD 30 and USD 40 respectively.
