Air France Check-in Methods
Air France allows you to check in using three different ways. These help in reducing the hassles at the airport. All of these check-in types have a cut-off time or time deadline within which a passenger must check-in. These deadlines vary from one departure city to another. However, the airline does require you to arrive at the airport counter at least 2 hours before the scheduled departure time of the flight. You are required to be at the boarding gate of the airplane 20 minutes before the scheduled departure time of the flight.
There are three different ways in which you can check in to Air France flights. These are:
: A) Airport Check-in: Arrive at the airport at least 2 hours before and must complete check-in 40 minutes before the scheduled departure time of the flight. This can be done either through the kiosk kept at the airports or by using the airport counter.
: B) Online Check-in: You can also check-in using the website of the airline. This can be done from 30 hours before the flight time (24 hours when flying on Delta Airlines from the USA).
: C) Mobile Application: Air France mobile app can be downloaded from Google Play or AppStore and this can be used for checking in as well. It can be done beginning 30 hours from the scheduled departure time of the flight.
